Michael operates a real estate development and consulting business, RedRock Development, Inc. (“RedRock”) which pursues industrial and mixed-use development opportunities and provides development management and entitlement services to property owners and investor entities. He has over 25 years of commercial and residential real estate development experience as a project leader for a variety of clients, partners, and owners throughout Southern California.
Prior to establishing RedRock, Michael was responsible for the acquisition, entitlement, and development of office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use projects in the Inland Empire as Vice President for LNR Property Corporation. He led the redevelopment of 1,200 acres of the former March Air Force Base in Riverside County, transforming it into a mixed-use, master-planned business park, as well as the redevelopment of 200-acre Sierra Business Park in Fontana.
He previously worked for Legacy Partners Commercial, developing large office and industrial projects in Southern California; operated a real estate consulting business servicing both corporate and developer clients; and was a Vice President with the Larwin Company, a residential land developer and commercial investment firm.
He has a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA with an emphasis in finance from the University of Southern California He is a licensed real estate broker and registered civil engineer in California. He is a past Board member of the Inland Empire Economic Partnership (IEEP) and the UC Riverside Business School Dean’s Advisory Board.
Michael was President of the Chapter in 2008, Chaired the Chapter bus tours in 2005 and 2006, and has been Co-Chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee since 2011.
