Christopher Sanford joined Black Creek Group in July, 2016 as Vice President of Development.  He is responsible for the turnkey delivery of industrial development throughout the western primary markets.  Key responsibilities include supporting acquisitions and due diligence, leading entitlements and permitting, and providing construction oversight.

Prior to joining Black Creek Group Mr. Sanford spent over 3 years at Hillwood and completed over 4.6M sf of industrial development in the Inland Empire in excess value of $300M.  During his time there he also completed over 1.7M sf of tenant improvements for several major users including Amazon, Medline, and MasterBrand Cabinets.  Before joining Hillwood, Mr. Sanford spent 8 years working for Snyder Langston managing various projects and product types including manufacturing facilities, corporate office build to suits, luxury hotels, and churches.  He also served as the lead estimator for the special projects division during which time he helped secure over $50M in projects.  Mr. Sanford also sits on the NAIOP Board for the Inland Empire Chapter Legislative Affairs Committee, is a NAIOP SoCal YPG Alumni, and is also a NAIOP National Forum Member.

Mr. Sanford holds a BA in Global Business / International Relations from the University of Southern California.
